Matt Sullivan grew up in the hills of Southwestern Indiana listening to everything from the Rolling Stones to Dwight Yoakam to the Bangles by way of Tom T. Hall. Matt records sparingly and prefers to write and gig. The second album in eight years, "Hot Rush" has really taken off. Modern folk lyrics on a range of topics from lost airplanes to sinful volleyball ringers keep the listener interested and smiling. The rough and tumble delivery with a tender side is unique and easily recognizable as a style all his own. 2019 brought on the release of the “Like Lightning” EP, another great collection. Austin, Boston, Nashville, Outlaw Roadshow, and SXSW, Matt has enjoyed the road and will be hitting it again.
